Product Solution Highlights
Mission Computing with Versal AI Edge Series Gen 2
Versal AI Edge Series Gen 2 is suitable for a multitude of A&D applications from autonomous systems to those that use AI inferencing in mission computing, onboard networking, software defined radio, and imaging, to the most advanced detection and tracking, as well as sensor fusion systems.

Advancing Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations for A&D
Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) are becoming increasingly more challenging as the spectrum becomes more congested and contested. The Versal RF Series helps to address capabilities for EMSO in a highly optimized monolithic SWaP-efficient device. With 32 GSPS data converters supporting up to Ku Band and new hard IP blocks, the Versal RF Series integrates the capabilities of a Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC and the high-DSP count of the Versal Premium Series into a single Versal RF Series device.

High Performance DSP with Versal Premium Series
Adaptive beamforming for phased radar array performs precision tracking and guidance in a spectrum contested environment. Versal™ Premium devices with AI Engines enable 4X greater signal processing capacity1 than the previous generation, allowing designers to implement more compute-intensive functions beyond beamforming. AI Engines and DSP Engines natively support various data types, including highly efficient single-precision floating-point for greater dynamic range, which is critical in radar applications.
The Versal Premium series provides 112G PAM4 transceivers with power-optimized IP to ensure secure networking from antennas to backend interfaces while easing system integration and lowering latency and power. The innovative, heterogeneous integration in the Versal architecture results in industry-leading reductions in size, weight, and power (SWaP) advantage for many radar system designs.
Versal Premium Series Gen 2 extends the proven Versal Premium adaptive SoCs with higher-density compute, increased memory bandwidth, upgraded I/O & GTs, and enhanced security features—all optimized for small form-factor systems, packing over 4000 DSP58 blocks into a 35x35 mm package and over 7500 DSP58 blocks into a 3U VPX compatible package.
