4x FPD-Link III Video Input FMC Card

Key component of the system is the quad FPD-Link III camera hub DS90UB960 from TI, which is capable of connecting serialized camera data received from 4 independent video data streams via an FPD-Link III interface. The data is received and aggregated into a MIPI CSI-2 compliant output for interconnect to a downstream processor. A second MIPI CSI-2 output port is available to provide additional bandwidth, or to offer a second replicated output. Cameras are connected via STP cable and HSD Rosenberger connectors to the board. One pair of wires is used for data transmission, the second pair of wires provides 12V for camera power supply. The FMC card is based on the ANSI/VITA 57.1 Standard. An EEPROM is used to store information supporting the characteristics of the IO mezzanine module according to the ANSI/VITA 57.1 FPGA Mezzanine Card (FMC) Standard respectively.
