PFE
PFE is a modular RFMC 2.0 solution to provide access to all ADCs and DACs on ZCU216, ZCU208, ZCU670 and similar RFSoC evaluation boards. A single PFE base board can connect four Rx/ADC modules and four Tx/DAC modules through an RF rated board-to-board edge connector. Each module provides up to four ports. The modules contains balun transformers or differential amplifiers to provide single-ended 50 ohm impedance to all channels. Available modules include wide-band passive module for ADC or DAC, wide-band amplified module for DAC and base-band DC-coupled amplified module for DAC. The PFE additionally provides pin headers for general FPGA I/O.
